Aaron Aisen
Aaron Aisen focuses his practice on regulatory matters as well as issues concerning electronic discovery and cyber risk. With a background in policy, management, and law at the local, state, national, and international levels, he has hands-on experience with a variety of federal laws and regulations, with particular emphasis on the Bank Secrecy Act and the Patriot Act. His legislative and regulatory experience includes interning for a U.S. congressman, a New York assemblyman, and a Member of Parliament in the United Kingdom House of Commons in London. Aaron received his bachelor’s degree in international affairs from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and he received his Master of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in financial and management analysis from Brigham Young University. As part of his international studies, he spent time at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, where he studied European law, British administrative law, and international criminal law and furthered those studies upon his return to the U.S. During law school at the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School, he was an executive editor on the Buffalo Public Interest Law Journal and sat on the Jessop International Moot Court Board.

Ethan Biery
Ethan is an LED Engineering Leader at Lutron Electronics. While his early career was spent developing dimming systems for large-scale commercial projects, the last five years have been spent focusing on LED technology, especially in the area of testing and improving dimming compatibility. In this role, he works with colleagues from all levels in the industry, from chipset vendors to lamp and fixture manufacturers, in order to improve compatibility between dimmers and LED light sources. Jim Burger
Jim Burger is a partner at Thompson Coburn LLP. He has represented semiconductor companies before Congress, the White House and the Homeland Security, Defense and Treasury departments on the anti-counterfeiting issue. He helped prepare comments for the semiconductor industry in a recent rulemaking asking DoD to more aggressively respond to counterfeits in the military supply chain. Jim is also Vice Chair of the Intellectual Property Owners Association’s (IPO) Anti-Counterfeiting and Anti-Piracy Committee. He has helped IPO draft comments to the Pentagon on preventing counterfeits in DoD procurement. Jim has also spoken directly to military leaders about the dangers of counterfeit parts, including a recent speech before the Naval Sea Systems Command.

Ed Donahue graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2009. Shortly after graduation, Mr. Donahue was hired as a Lab Technician by Mutual Cornell, an ISO 17025 Accredited Analytical Laboratory in Providence, Rhode Island. In 2010, he was promoted to Special Projects Manager, which includes training and presentations on the myriad of state, federal, and international testing requirements to customers. In 2011, Mr. Donahue joined the Laboratory Advisory Group (LAG) as Mutual Cornell’s representative to the United States National Committee (USNC) of the International Electro-technical Commission for Quality (IECQ) (USNC/IECQ). He was quickly elected to the LAG board as the Secretary/Treasurer. After serving two years as Secretary/Treasurer the LAG voted him as its new Chairman in 2013. Most recently, Mr. Donahue was elected by the members of the USNC/IECQ to the position of Vice Chairman to the USNC/IECQ, a position he will begin January 1, 2014.

Mike Schade is the Mind the Store Campaign Director for Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families. He spearheads the Mind the Store campaign which aims to work with the nation’s leading retailers on creating comprehensive chemicals policy. For the previous eight years, Mike was the Markets Campaign Coordinator with the Center for Health, Environment & Justice (CHEJ), a national environmental health organization where he led national campaigns to phase out PVC plastic, phthalates, BPA and dioxin. Prior to CHEJ, he was the Western New York Director of Citizens’ Environmental Coalition. As our in-house attorney he provides contract review expertise and general legal counsel. Jesse, who is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, earned his undergraduate degree in Communications from Penn State University and his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law. Bob Tipton, USAF Colonel, retired in 2000 after 30 years of service. Mr. Tipton flew two combat tours in Vietnam as an RF-4C WSO, was an instructor at the US Army Command and General Staff College, and worked for a decade as an acquisition program director. Since 2000, he has provided consulting and direct support to the DoD Services and agencies working with aging Aircraft and Systems Integrity issues, including risk mitigation for Pb Free counterfeit parts. Mr. Tipton also was the head women’s soccer coach at Flagler College in St Augustine College and has over two decades of experience in competitive team coaching in the Midwest. He received his Bachelor in Business Administration from Memphis State University (Magna Cum Laude), his Masters in Management from Troy State University. Phil Zulueta is an independent consultant and Chairman of the SAE International G-19 Committee, involved with the mitigation of counterfeit electronic parts through the development and release of international standards and their promotion. Phil served as Program Element Manager for the NASA Electronic Parts and Packaging (NEPP) Program, Chairman of the Counterfeit Parts Working Group and Manager of the Hardware Technology Assurance Group at Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Office of Safety and Mission Success. He managed engineers, researchers and technologists responsible for Packaging Assurance, Non-destructive Evaluation, Electronics Manufacturing Technology Transfer and Certification, Electronics Inspection, Optical Metrology, Electro-Static Discharge (ESD) Awareness and Counterfeit Electronic Parts Risk Mitigation. He earned a Business Administration Master’s degree from Pepperdine University and a Materials Engineering degree from California State University, Long Beach.
